Book Club

The LGBTQ Book Club explores literature through an LGBTQ+ lens. Each month, members gather to discuss selected works by LGBTQ+ authors or featuring LGBTQ+ themes, spanning a range of genres from fiction and memoirs to poetry and essays. The book club provides a space for open conversations about representation, identity, and shared experiences, fostering both personal growth and connection. It’s a wonderful opportunity for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies to discover new perspectives, celebrate queer voices, and build lasting friendships through a love of reading.

Dance Lessons

The LGBTQ+ Dance Class is a fun, inclusive space where everyone can enjoy the rhythm and passion of dance without the limitations of traditional gender roles. Participants are encouraged to explore both leading and following, regardless of gender, creating a flexible and welcoming environment for self-expression.

The class covers popular Latin styles like salsa and bachata, with instructors guiding each dancer to move confidently and authentically. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, this class is a joyful celebration of movement, music, and connection that invites everyone to dance freely and embrace their unique style.

Drag Storytime and Crafts

Drag Storytime and Craft Day is designed for youth under 12, where creativity and storytelling come together in a fun and inclusive atmosphere. Children are invited to join drag performers as they read engaging and diverse stories that celebrate individuality, acceptance, and the magic of imagination.

Following the storytelling, kids can unleash their creativity with exciting craft activities inspired by the tales they've heard. This event encourages self-expression and fosters a love for reading while providing a safe space for all children to explore their identities and celebrate diversity.

Vision Boards for 2025

Kick off the New Year with our Vision Board Workshop.

In a supportive and collaborative atmosphere, attendees will explore their aspirations across various aspects of life, including personal growth, career, relationships, and wellness. The workshop begins with guided discussions to encourage reflection and intention-setting, followed by a hands-on crafting session where participants will create their own vision boards using magazines, art supplies, and personal mementos. By combining imagery, words, and creativity, each participant will design a unique board that serves as a visual reminder of their goals. This engaging workshop not only fosters creativity but also encourages community connection and support, empowering individuals to take actionable steps towards realizing their dreams.
